Joan
grew up in central NY state and western
Massachusetts
, majoring in art, but she always had an interest in
writing.
Her mother was an English teacher and always told
her, “I think you could write.”
Now she does.
The
first ten years of her career were spent in retail
advertising, doing artwork and writing copy.
Then she went on to teach art in Hartford Public
Schools.
Retired to
Florida
, she continues her interests in painting and writing.
She has four grown children, who all turned out more
than just fine, and six beautiful grandchildren.
